Art needlepoint images with decorated wooden frames. I did many in this series when my kids were small and we were rambling over several countries and continents for a few years, which made attacking anything larger too difficult. The wooden frames painted with acrylics and decorated sometimes with sequins came along once we settled down from our travels.

In most pleces, many colors are used in place of just one simple one to create a more lively surface.
