I can still see Riley's little face through this tiger mask somehow. Maybe it's the fearless tiger side of herself that helps her take the brave step of dancing in public.

When I was about three I followed the Dorval town parade off to its end on my tricycle. When my mother realized I was missing, she was not overly worried and sure enough she just followed the parade and picked me up. Apparently I said, ”When I grow up, I am going to be a girl who finds parades and goes in them”.

Drums! Action! Let the parade begin! Let's run away and join the circus! In our minds, at least...
