In September, 2007 I became more liberated from work at Kidzsmart and headed back to my art studio fulltime. When I headed to a fabulous weekly life drawing session that I had never been free for before, my art jolted into a completely different direction than I had expected.

My colorful and lively life drawings spoke directly to me and pushed me straight into figurative painting. Before this, I has had no desire to paint from real models, prefering to paint only from my imagination.
